To keep your AirDoctor Air Purifier functioning as efficiently as possible, you'll need to replace your air filter on a regular basis. Whether you're using an AirDoctor 3000 or an AirDoctor 5000, if it has been operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, you'll only need to change your UltraHEPA™ filter once a year and the Carbon/Gas Trap/VOC filter once every 6 months. But in case you forget, the AirDoctor's Change Filter Alert will conveniently let you know when you need a replacement.

1. CLEANABLE PRE-FILTER

The Pre-Filter is designed to remove larger contaminants like dust and animal hair and helps extend the life of your filters. AirDoctor's Pre-Filter can be vacuumed or hand-washed to be reused.

2. DUAL-ACTION, CARBON/GAS TRAP/VOC FILTER
The Carbon/Gas Trap/VOC Filter combines two types of media, Activated Carbon to remove gas and odors and Potassium Permanganate to deactivate certain volatile organic compounds (VOCs) like formaldehyde.

3. ULTRAHEPA™ FILTER
AirDoctor uses our exclusive UltraHEPA filter that is 100 times more effective than ordinary HEPA filters. Ordinary HEPA systems only claim to remove 99.97% of particles down to .3 microns. AirDoctor's UltraHEPA has been independently tested to remove 100% of airborne particles at 0.003 microns in size, 100 times smaller than the HEPA standard.
