Turin DF83 SSP High Uniformity Burr Set Upgrade
Description
The SSP HU (High-Uniformity) burrs have a geometry intended to excel at producing espresso. This style of burr tends to work better for medium to dark roasted coffees, but we also find they work fantastic for lighter roasts as well. SSP HU burrs are designed to produce a high uniformity coffee ground, allowing the espresso extraction to have high body (viscosity) while also producing a balanced amount of clarity.
While these burrs are marketed as "espresso" burrs, they also produce a quality pour over extraction.
SSP’s burrs are designed to last a lifetime using tool steel and coated with Red Speed Titanium Aluminum Carbon Nitride (TiAICN). On average SSP burrs have been able to grind over 10,000 pounds of coffee before needing replaced.
SSP 83mm High-Uniformity Red Speed burr set increases grind speed and the extraction quality. They are designed for the Turin DF83 Turin DF83V, Mazzer Major, and many other 83mm "Mazzer" hole pattern grinders.
